Blow the trumpet in Zion!
There is a wake-up call going out through the airways. You will hear it if your spiritual ears are tuned to the desires of the
Bridegroom.
Joel 2:1 "Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land
tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand."
The Holy Spirit is calling us to separate ourselves in prayer and fasting to seek the Lord's face in these special days before the
celebration of Pentecost. Set apart some time several times a day to just become quiet and listening - waiting on the Lord.
Is. 55:3 "Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant
with you, even the sure mercies of David."
AWAKE! AWAKE!
I have been hearing the following scripture again and again:
Eph. 5:14 "Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light."
If you read the context from verse 1, the Apostle Paul talks about compromise with darkness and indulgence of the flesh, which
brings forth death!
This is a time for the church to come out of slothfulness, lethargy, luke-warmness and casual compromise. On the other hand,
some are so busy doing the good works of the ministry that their priorities have shifted to works and they simply cannot find the
time to sit down and become quiet before the Lord.
The evil spirit that is loosed now to oppose the wooing of the Holy Spirit (who is calling the Bride to come away into separation
unto purification) is the spirit of lethargy. This spirit is causing sleepiness, weariness, slothfulness, laziness, procrastination
and dullness on the one hand. On the other hand, it works together with the deaf and dumb spirit, which causes people to be
restless, driving them to perform duty out of guilt, causing difficulty to focus, scattering in the mind, confusion and dullness of
hearing and seeing. There is also an intense assignment from the enemy to bring DISTRACTIONS.
Eph. 6:11 "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
We are not ignorant of his devices. Identify the thief and take a stand against him in the power of the Holy Ghost! Come under
the shelter of the wings of the Almighty in His dwelling place.
WAKE UP and SET YOURSELF APART for the LORD!
We need to wake up to the call of the Spirit to spend quality time with the Lord in order to receive "eye salve" to "see" what is
happening in our lives, repent and get our balance back.
I heard the Spirit say that Jesus is coming to awake His bride with the kiss of revelation of who He really is and of His passionate
love for souls. Those who seek His face during this time in prayer (and fasting) will experience glory encounters with
outpourings of fresh revelation and insight and new vision for the next season, as well as a fresh empowering of the Spirit.
FIRE BAPTISM
Many of us might already be baptized with the Holy Spirit, but lack the fire!
Matt. 3:11 - "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose
shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire."
Let us prepare ourselves for the great awakening that is coming and be empowered with the fire-baptism. Let His fire fall on the
sacrifice of our lives and burn our everything that is not of Him; then let our hearts be set ablaze anew with a fiery love for the
Lord Jesus and our tongues be on fire with the Word of the Lord - in season and out of season to bring in souls into the
Kingdom.
CALL FOR PRAYER and INTERCESSION
Now is also the time to be available to the Lord for intercession for souls all over the world. Let us pray - not only for our loved
ones, but also for the body of Christ, our cities, and regions and for the nations. Let us pray especially for grace for America
and Israel, as well as for Ishmael.
1 Cor. 15:34 “Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.”
Prayer: Father, we ask in the Name of Jesus, our eternal High Priest, that You will give us the grace to discern and understand
the times and the seasons and heed Your voice to come up to the "upper room", waiting on a fresh empowering of the Holy
Ghost.
