fresh understanding of My love for you and for the whole world.”
VISION
Every day of late, as I am seeking the Lord's face, He has shown me different glimpses of His journey from His entry into
Jerusalem to the cross and today while I was worshiping Him, He showed me His head with the crown of thorns. As I was
meditating on this picture, all of a sudden His face was right before me and I looked into His eyes, so full of love and
compassion. Then I saw the picture of Himself on the cross, reflected in His eyes.
My heart broke as I realized that He was meditating on what He has done for us on the cross and that many are totally oblivious
of His immense love for us.
VICTORY FOR SPIRIT, SOUL AND BODY
From Gethsemane to Calvary, Jesus left a trail of blood overcoming temptation, emotional agony, self-will, betrayal, desertion,
scorn, ridicule, rejection, false accusation, lies, injustice, hatred, cruelty, humiliation, indescribable pain and then the worst of all
- being forsaken by the Father. He became obedient unto death. He bore our griefs and our sorrows, was wounded for our
transgressions, bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed. He
suffered in spirit, soul and body every conceivable affliction that man could ever go through, so that we by faith can appropriate
His full provision for our victory to also be overcomers! (Rev.12: 11)
FORGIVENESS
His love caused Him to willingly pay the penalty for all our sins and transgressions, so that we can receive forgiveness by His
blood and the victory to walk in resurrection power in our full inheritance in Christ!
1 John 1:9: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
This is the reason why He requires of us to forgive those who trespass against us!
Matt. 6:14-15: "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their
trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
It is in our relationships that we will be tested most! In view of the tremendous price that Jesus paid for our sins, let us test our
hearts for any trace of unforgiveness, bitterness, offense, judgmentalism or such during this Passover. Then extend
forgiveness to everyone who has ever hurt us in any way, so that the blood can purge us to walk with pure hearts before the
Lord.
May God give us the grace to overcome every trial in our relationships with love. Jesus doesn't love sin, but He loves sinners.
As we forgive others, we walk in freedom and set them free from condemnation, so that they too in turn can receive forgiveness
from the Father through repentance.
His heart of compassion is yearning for the many who do not now Him - even many of His children who do not know Him and
who are bound by sin.
I want to encourage those who are going through rough places to fix your eyes upon Jesus and to appropriate by faith that
victory which He has wrought for you on Calvary! He will never leave you, nor forsake you. He is your Savior, Healer, Deliverer
and Provider in all your need. Worship Him and He will give you the victory - then carry the message of the cross out to the
world!
Prayer: Father, we ask in the name of Jesus that you give us a full revelation of the cross as we meditate on what Jesus has
done for us. We ask for your heart of compassion to pray and intercede for the lost and for those who have become lukewarm
and cold and for those in need. Amen.
