SEEING THROUGH THE FATHER’S EYE
In Worship I saw a huge eye -what I understood to be the Father’s eye, with Jesus walking in the middle of it. Then I saw myself looking through God’s eye – through Jesus – to humanity. My total awareness was His immense love mercy, compassion and grace for each individual.
I understood in a new way that we should see people with God’s eyes, through what Jesus has done for each of us. What stood out for me was that God’s purpose is for everyone to glorify Jesus in the way we look at one another (because of His immense sacrifice). I understood how God the Father’s desire is for everyone (no matter how sinful they are) to come to the revelation of the Christ so that He can be glorified. Father God looks at us through His Son’s perfection on the cross!
The Holy Spirit impressed on my heart our need to look at His continual “working” in each person to draw them to the Father through Christ Jesus and that we should be instruments of that compassionate love – to honor, exhort, encourage, bless and pray for everyone around us – without judgment in our hearts, keeping in mind our own frailty and the grace of God we are partaking in.
Let Jesus have the reward of His suffering!
Put on the New Self
…12So, as those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put on a heart of compassion (TENDER MERCIES), kindness, humility, gentleness and patience; 13bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you. 14Beyond all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.…
Then I became very aware of the Lord’s holiness and went flat on my face before the Lord, weeping before Him in adoration.
I saw angels coming, covering me with a golden covering and the effect was that of burial. As I watched from “above” I saw the emblem of the cross being “formed” (as if embossed) in the covering.
I understood that the Lord was talking about the crucified life – where I am not seen, but covered with His glory. And I realized in a new way that His glory in me is signified by the cross and without the blood of the cross and the resurrection life there is no glory to Him.
The song changed to “Come, this is the time to WORSHIP”. I understood that living the crucified life by the Spirit is a life of true worship.
